Puyallup Real Estate Market Activity For June 2015 – By Puyallup Real Estate Agent Alain Picard

The Month of June marked the second consecutive month that the Puyallup Real Estate Market had a lower number of Pending Homes Sales when compared to the month prior. At the same time, however we did see an increase in the number of New Listings in Puyallup compared to the month prior. While it appears that more Home Sellers in Puyallup are beginning to put their homes up for sale, Buyers in Puyallup appear to be writing less offers. The Number of New Listings in Puyallup rose by about 3.5% compared to the month prior and by about 30% year over year. The Average List Price for Homes in Puyallup rose by about 5.5% compared to the month prior and by about 12.5% year over year. The Number of Pending Home Sales in Puyallup declined by about 6% compared to the month prior and rose by about 23.5% year over year. Once again, this number was down compared to last month, but it was still significantly higher than the same time last year. The Number of Home Sales in Puyallup rose by about 6.5% compared to the month prior and by about 19.5% year over year. The Average Sales Price for Homes in Puyallup rose by about 6% compared to the month prior and by about 10.5% year over year. It appears that the Puyallup Real Estate Market may be leveling out a bit which is good for the overall market. Whether you are Buying or Selling a home, in many ways it is still a great time to do so.
